Heartfelt gratitude to the Divine Mother Goddess Sharadaamba for showering Her Choicest Grace and blessings with the boon of the greatest among fine arts, Music. To born in a family of musicians is another blessing for me.
My journey
My mother Smt. Lakshminarasamma, who had a wonderful, melodious voice was a trained musician. My grandfather Shri. M N Shankarasastry who was a professional musician at Mandya was the strong base to transmit musical skills to his descendants in the family.
I am the most fortunate one, to take this Divine Art as a life time penance for both purposes of life, a profession for worldly life and for spiritual purpose of Human life, Self realisation.
Bestowed with a melodious, vibrant voice, started getting trained by stalwarts in Carnatic Music field, such as Vidwan R R Keshavamurthy, Shankaramurthy, Ganakalabhushana Vidwan R K Padmanabha, Vidushi R A Ramamani, Late Smt. Neelaramagopal and many more.
The effect of Music
Music has gone so deep-rooted in myself, I can feel the melodic vibrations of Sapthaswaras in each cell of my body mind and soul.
Getting up early during Brahmi muhurtam at 4 AM and do rigorous Sadhana of Musical exercises for voice culture for 2 to 3 hours in childhood became an integral part of my life.
Sensitivity to the meaning of each composition was another major element which shaped my inner self.
My greatest ambition was to sing like MS Subbalaksmi and become world famous.
But highly grateful to the Divine plan for me to blend Music and Holistic Health and contribute to this unique field of Indian Music Therapy
